Two landmark publications are redefining workplace excellence through the lens of caregiver support.
US News's inaugural "Best Companies to Work For: Supporting Family Caregiving" list spotlights 80 companies setting new standards, while the Milken Institute's Future of Aging comprehensive report, "Supporting Family Caregiving: How Employers Lead," examines how market leaders are building better care infrastructure.
The US News list features nine Wellthy clients spanning key industries: from technology leaders like Atlassian, Cadence, Cisco, Udemy, and Workday; to financial service and insurance leader Travelers; manufacturing innovator Keysight Technologies; and consumer-focused companies like Airbnb and Colgate-Palmolive. This cross-sector representation demonstrates how leading employers across industries recognize the critical importance of supporting their caregiving employees.
“Many employees across the workforce juggle heavier personal responsibilities on top of their day-to-day professional duties,” said U.S. News’ Vice President of Careers, Carly Chase. “The U.S. News Best Companies to Work For: Supporting Family Caregiving ratings provide a look at top workplaces that make it easier for employees to manage their family care and professional commitments so they can contribute their best selves to the company’s success.”
The Milken Institute report — which Wellthy is a proud supporter of, alongside Edward Jones and Genentech — was done in collaboration with Hopkins Business of Health Initiative and features groundbreaking initiatives from industry leaders like Medtronic, Merck, and Salesforce, examining how forward-thinking organizations are building robust care infrastructure for their teams.
“Our new report, 'Supporting Family Caregiving: How Employers Lead,' highlights the impact caregiving demands are having on the workforce and offers actionable insights for employers to lead in today’s tight labor market," said Diane Ty, Milken Institute Future of Aging Managing Director.
These publications highlight a powerful insight: companies investing in comprehensive caregiver support see measurable returns. By enabling employees to excel both professionally and as caregivers, these organizations report stronger retention rates, higher satisfaction scores, and sustained innovation—proving that caregiver support directly impacts business success.
