Hearst spam issue

Hearst employees who have signed up for the Wellthy service with their Hearst email addresses have reported issues with email delivery.

Hearst uses third-party software that is marking Wellthy platform messages as spam and quarantining them before they can reach the inbox.

Below are two workarounds for Hearst employees who are signing up for the Wellthy service.

  1. 1. Use a personal email to access wellthy.com Recommended

    A Hearst employee who has already created a Wellthy account can change their email from their professional email to a personal account.

    This will have no impact on eligibility for the program. We will still ask employer information when a Care Project is created.

  2. 2. Release Wellthy emails from quarantine

    Hearst employees receive a spam digest once a day that contains all of their quarantined emails. The subject of this email is Hearst SPAM Digest. It is sent by cadmin@hearstsc.com, and is delivered in the early morning.

    If you have signed up for a Wellthy account since the last digest was sent you will need to find a digest already in their inbox, and click Request New End User Digest. A new copy of the digest will be sent within a few minutes and it should contain an email from hi@wellthy.com with the subject Please confirm your email account.

    From the new digest you can choose to Release this email in their quarantine, which means the email will be delivered to their Inbox. They can also choose to Release and Safelist an email account. This will add the sender to a Safelist and hopefully prevent the sender from getting caught in the quarantine again.

    Note: Every new task thread will be caught in the quarantine since a unique email address is used for each task created on the Wellthy platform.
